City of London law firm ELS Legal has congratulated two of its trainees on their professional qualifications.
Caitlin Ferguson and Elina Sfongali can now practice as solicitors in England and Wales after completing the Legal Practice Course (LPC).
Both professionals started out as graduates at ELS Legal, which specialises in property law and commercial litigation.
Caitlin grew up in Canada, but moved to the UK to pursue a career in law and now works in the firm’s litigation department.
Caitlin said: “Training at ELS Legal has been an empowering experience. Instead of making the tea and coffee, I’ve had the chance to become involved in some of the firm’s major litigation work, including one of the biggest litigation cases of 2016.”
Elina, originally from Cyprus, graduated from King’s College London and joined ELS Legal as a paralegal in 2016 and also works in the firm’s litigation department
Elina said: “The team’s support and advice has been invaluable. ELS Legal is a great firm with some really accomplished solicitors and I am proud to be working alongside them as a colleague.”
Richard Spector, Managing Partner, said: “Aspiring solicitors are always welcome at ELS Legal. Our firm’s training programme has produced some of London’s best young talent and we are eager to continue that trend.”
