ELS Legal’s latest accounts will show that the city law firm has made more than one million pounds following a successive year of global growth.
The specialist property and commercial law firm saw gross profits rise to £1,015,371 in 2016/17.
Richard Spector, Managing Partner at ELS Legal, said the business has undergone a strategic international expansion to broaden its client base and take on a larger, more prestigious caseload.
ELS Legal has also taken on new partners to handle strong demand for its litigation, property and corporate services.
As part of its global expansion, ELS Legal recently partnered with international legal network, Cathay Associates, which refers work globally between more than 50 associate firms. The network selects just one representative office per jurisdiction that has exclusivity for all the work that is generated for that region.
Richard Spector, now aged 37, took control of the firm five years ago.
“Our latest accounts are encouraging, but the firm’s focus has never been financial,” said Richard.
“The expansion has only just begun. Throughout 2018, we plan on hiring more solicitors and promoting more partners. We will continue to prioritise innovation, meaningful and ethical growth and creating deeper links with our international friends.”
